The world went black.

"Amu-chan?" A familiar voice spoke from behind her. "Tadase-kun? Is that you?" He laughed. "Of course it's me, Amu-chan! Who else would it be? The boogie man?" He spun her around, and looked her in the eyes. "Amu-chan, are you okay? You look like you've seen a ghost!" He laughed at her and began walking. "Oh, I'm sorry I just... really don't like the dark." she was lying, she was day dreaming again, about Ikuto, and when she remembered that she had no idea if he was dead or alive, this frightened her, deeply. And Tadase caught her off guard.

"Well come on Amu-chan, let's go." He grabbed her hand, and pulled her along. "When do you think Ikuto will come back?" She asked timidly. She knew this wasn't the subject of choice with Tadase.
Suddenly, his face changed. "Shut up about him, Amu-chan. I've told you a thousand times to stop talking about him. He doesn't care about you. You're going to regret bringing him up." Amu was shocked.
"Tadase-kun? W-what do you mean, I'm going to regret it?"

Tadase smiled sadistically. "You'll see Amu-chan."
He then dragged Amu off to the car.

Amu threw herself awake. "Oh-oh my god." She was out of breath, and her heart was pounding against her chest.
She managed to regain composure, and got herself to stand up. She started to walk towards the bedroom where Ikuto was sleeping peacefully.

She reached the bed, and realized why she had passed out in the first place. She hadn't been eating much lately, only really drinking water. She sighed, knowing she should probably go eat something, and take a few vitamins, but she couldn't bring herself to move.

Looking down she remembered what Tadase said in her dream. And started to cry, and shake Ikuto's shoulder.

Ikuto was having the most wonderful dream.

"Ikuto! Ikuto! Come quick, come quick!" Amu yelled at him from across the apartment. Thinking something was wrong, he ran after the yelling girl. "Amu-" There she was standing there, holding a bag full of treats, chocolate treats to be exact. "Holy Crap." It was like heaven. He walked over and she smiled, "I was shopping and I saw this new store, all they sell is chocolate! So I thought of you, and bought as much as I could afford!"
He was overcome by her cuteness, the little 12 year old Amu was before him, smiling away. She broke his thoughts, "I'm so glad you didn't leave!" "I'm glad too, Amu." He smiled and picked her up, swinging her around.
"Now Tadase can't hurt you."

"Amu, go away." he murmured. "I was having a good dream." Expecting her to snap back some 'cool and spicy' remark, he was surprised to instead hear her sobbing. His eyes flew open and he sat up, knocking her hand off his shoulder. She covered her face and sobbed even harder.
"What happened to you!" He barked, "Did someone hurt you?!" She shook her head. "Amu?" he whispered.
There was a short pause and he heard her suck in a short breath.
"Amu?" he tried again. "What's wrong, honey?" She then shrieked. "YOU SHOULDN'T CALL SOMEONE YOU DON'T LOVE HONEY." She shoved him away, and ran for the door.

"Amu!" he yelled. "AMU!"

And with a loud slam of a door, she was gone.
